Linen, made from the sustainable fibers of the flax plant, is prized for its subtle texture and breathability. This particular fabric is woven in Italy, at Pantex Mill. In a black-and-tan Glen Plaid, named for the Scottish estate where the pattern was first used in the early 19th century, it looks like a heavy tweed, but is light enough to wear in warmer weather.
