A “fresco” fabric is a type of high-twist, open-weave, and extremely breathable fabric; the word comes from the Italian “affresco,” for “fresh.” In this case, the yarn is an Italian tropical weight wool, with a light, crisp handfeel; the high twist allows for an open weave, creating an airier final fabric that’s still remarkably durable.
